Confidence in Chaos Through Christ
II Cor. 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
It is a Conditional Promise. “Therefore, if”
It is a Personal Promise. “if anyone”
It’s a One Dimensional Promise. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ”
It’s a Radical Promise. “he is a new creation”
It’s a Powerful Promise. “old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Through Christ We’re A New Person. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation”
Through Christ We Have A New Purpose. “old things have passed away”
Through Christ We Have A New Priority. “behold, all things have become new.”
We see the Lord differently.
We see the land differently.
We see the lives of others differently.
Through Christ We Have New Potential. “is in Christ”
I Jn.4:17, “As He is, so are we in the world.”
How often we forget who we are. According to God…

· We are saints. Eph.1:1
· We are Gods workmanship, His handiwork. Eph.2:10
· We are righteous and holy. Eph.4:24
· We are citizens of heaven. Eph.2:6
· We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession. 1 Peter 2:9
· We are born of God and the evil one cannot touch us. I Jn.5:18
