Deliverance in the Darkness
Mark 10: 46-52
We Must Recognize Who He Is – 47 “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say Jesus, Son of David…”
We Must Continually Cry Out To Him. 47 “He began to cry out”
Mt.7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.”
We Must Ignore The Crowd. 48 “many warned him to be quiet.”
Rom. 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
We Must Be Persistent. 48 “but he cried out all the more”
We Must Remove Any Hindrances. 50 “and throwing aside his garment”
Hebrews 12:1 “let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us.”
Psalm 66:18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me.”
We Must Clearly Obey What We Know To Do. 50 “he rose and came to Jesus”
We Must Let Our Request Be Made Known To The Lord. 51 “So Jesus answered and said to him, what do you want me to do for you? The blind man said to Him. Rabboni, that I may receive my sight”
We Must Believe In God. 52 “your faith has made you well”
Luke 18:8 “When the son of man comes will he find faith on the earth.”
We Must Follow Jesus. 52 “and followed Jesus on the road.”
Is the desire of your heart to follow him?
