Series - Priceless Principles from Proverbs
The Wealth and Worth of Wisdom
Proverbs 2:1-13

“Wisdom on the Sexes.”
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
A man will pay two dollars for a one dollar item he wants. A woman will pay one dollar for a two dollar item that she doesn't want.
To be happy with a man you must understand him a lot and love him a little. To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
A woman marries a man expecting that he will change, but doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change and she does.
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband, while a man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
There are 2 times a man doesn't understand a woman; before and after marriage.
Only 2 things are necessary to keep one's wife happy. One is to let her think she is having her way, and the other is to let her have it.
Married men live longer than single men. But married men are a lot more willing to die.
Any married man should forget his mistakes; there is no use in 2 people remembering the same thing.
A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

WISDOM IS PROVIDED. 6 “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him.”

Wisdom Gives Us Satisfaction. 10 “When wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant to your soul”
Prov. 3:13 “Happy is the man who finds wisdom”

Wisdom Guides Us Safely. 11 “discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you”

Lloyd John Ogilvie said, “Wisdom is the special gift of God for our quest to know His will. It is beyond intellect and knowledge. It enables a person to hear with God's ears and see with God's eyes. It is the vertical thrust of the mind of God into our minds, making discernment possible on the horizontal level of human affairs. If we long to know God's maximum for our lives, then wisdom is the gift we need.”

Wisdom Guards Us From Sin. 12 “to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things.” 16 “to deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words”

WISDOM IS A PRIORITY TO BE PURSUED. 4:5 “Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget or turn away from the words of my mouth.” 4:7 “Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom…”

To pursue wisdom there must be:
Inclination: 1,2 “My son, if you receive my words and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom…”
Intercession: 3 “Yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding…”
Investigation: 4 “If you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures.”
5 “Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom…”

A definition of wisdom; Wisdom is the ability to think through the mind of God, to see through the eyes of God, to hear through the ears of God, to live through the heart of God.

WISDOM IS PRICELESS. 3:13 “Happy is the man who finds wisdom…” 14 “for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver and her gain than fine gold.” 15 “She is more precious than rubies & all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.”
16:16 “How much better to get wisdom than gold!”

Max Born was a German nuclear physicist, said "The world would be happier if it had scientists with less brains, and more wisdom."

C. H. Spurgeon said, “Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal and are the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great as a knowing fool; but to know how to use knowledge is to have the priceless gem of wisdom.”

Series; Potholes
The Stronghold of Sex
I Cor. 7:1-5

THERE MUST BE SEXUAL PURITY BEFORE MARRIAGE 1 “Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me; it is good for a man not to touch a woman.” 2 “Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality”

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that you should abstain from sexual immorality.” I Thess. 4:3

Sex Before Marriage Sets A Dangerous Precedent.

Couples who choose to live together before marriage are 48% more likely to divorce than those who don’t.
Men in a cohabiting relationship are 4 times more likely to commit infidelity than a man who’s married.
Women in a cohabiting relationship are 8 times more likely to have an affair than women who are married.
Only 1 out of 6 couples who live together stay together at least 3 years; only 1 out of 10 are together after 5 years.

Sex Before Marriage Exposes Us To Dangerous Problems.

THERE MUST BE SEXUAL PRECAUTIONS AFTER MARRIAGE – 2 “Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife and let each woman have her own husband.” 3 “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her and likewise also the wife to her husband.”

Be Attentive To One Another – 2 “let each man have his own wife and let each woman have her own husband.”

Be Affectionate To One Another - 3 “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her and likewise also the wife to her husband.”

Five Warning Signs:
When there is a lack of intimacy in marriage
When you experience grief or depression.
When there is a long period of separation.
When you spend a lot of time with the opposite sex.
When you become successful.

THERE MUST BE SEXUAL PASSION WITHIN MARRIAGE – 4 “The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.” 5 “Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self control.”

Dr. Andrew Atwood, an expert on marital relationships said “there are 17 million married couples in US who never have sex at all.”

“do not deprive one another except with consent (mutual agreement) for a time…”

Don’t Deny The Obvious. 4 “The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”
Sex is for…
Procreation, having children,
Recreation, for pleasure but also for
Communication. Gen. 4:1 says “Now Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and bore Cain…”

Don’t Deprive Each Other. 5 “Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self control.”

The #1 need of a woman is affection.
The #1 need of a man is sexual fulfillment.

Series: Priceless Principles from Proverbs
The Complexity Of Simplicity
Prov. 16:8

Do you ever long for the simple life?

“Be still and know that I am God.” Ps. 46:10
“I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” Jn. 10:10
“But they that wait on the Lord, He shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isa. 40:31
“Better is a little with righteousness, than vast revenues without justice.” Prov. 16:8

THERE’S A BETTER LIFE- “Better is a little”

The Simple Life Is Not Just Conformity

The Simple Life Is Contentment.
“I have learned in whatever state I am in, to be content.” Phil.4:11

How much is enough?

THERE’S A BLESSED LIFE – “Better is a little with righteousness”

A Blessed Life Redeems The Time.
Eph.5:16 “Redeeming the time because the days are evil”

I was regretting the past, fearing the future
when suddenly my Lord was speaking
My name is I AM. He paused, I waited, he continued.
When you live in the past with its mistakes & regrets it is hard.
I am not there. My name is not I WAS.
When you live in the future with its problems & fears it is hard.
I am not there. My name is not I WILL BE.
When you live in this moment it is not hard.
I am here. My name is I AM.

A Blessed Life Respects The Truth.
“I am the vine, you are the branches, he that abides in Me and I in him the same brings forth much fruit but without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Deitrich Bonhoeffer said, “To be simple is to fix one’s eye solely on the simple truth of God at a time when all concepts are being confused, distorted and turned upside down.”

“For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity...” 2 Cor.1:12
“But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2 Cor. 11:3

THERE’S THE BEST LIFE- “than vast revenues without justice.”

1. Prioritize your life; put first things first.

2. Answer the question, how much is enough?

3. Strengthen your spiritual disciplines.

4. Take time to enjoy Gods creation.

5. Concentrate - Eliminate – Dedicate!

The Snare of Sin
Hebrews 12:1-2; 2 Tim. 2:25-26
(note: Nicky I’ll only read the first part of Hebr. 12:2. “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”)

Our country minimizes sin.
Our culture glamorizes sin.
Our churches rationalize sin.

Sin is the most powerful 3 letter word in the English language.

THE SNARE OF SIN WILL CAPTURE YOU. Hebr. 12:1 “and the sin which so easily ensnares us”

Rom. 3:23 “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Isa. 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned
everyone to his own way”
Rom. 3:10 “There is none righteous, no not one”

Sometimes we sin out of ignorance.

Sometimes we sin and it is intentional.

THE SNARE OF SIN WILL CONFUSE YOU. 2 Tim. 26 “and that they may come to their senses”

THE SNARE OF SIN WILL CONTROL YOU. 26 “and escape the snare of the devil having been taken captive by him to do his will.”

John 10:10 “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.”

Sin Steals Your Fellowship With God.

Sin Steals The Blessings Of God.

Sin Steals Our Testimony for God.

Listen to this article out of the Raleigh News and Observer.
“Not long ago one of my readers sent along a story about an impatient driver who went berserk when the guy in front of her didn’t move fast enough to suit her when the light changed. She honked the horn insistently, pounded on the steering wheel exasperated, rolled the window down and yelled obscenities at the poor guy. Flustered by the uproar he flooded the cars motor and had to endure more verbal abuse. The woman got so ballistic that a cop a few cars behind got out, walked over and arrested her on a charge of disorderly conduct and driving a stolen vehicle.
Some hours later her husband came & confirmed that she did actually own the vehicle. The officer was profuse in his apologies. You see mam, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn and flipping the guy off and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the “choose life” license plate, I noticed the “what would Jesus do bumper sticker” and the follow me to SS bumper sticker, and the chrome plated Christian fish on your trunk. I naturally assumed you had stolen the car.”

Sin Steals Our Peace and Joy.
I Cor. 5:5 “To deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”

Sin Steals A Clear Conscience.

Sin Steals Our Spiritual Growth.

Sin separates you from spiritual fruit.

The Problem With Prejudice
John 1: 43-49

The problem with prejudice is you can’t be prejudice and walk with God!

Acts 10:34 “Then Peter opened his mouth & said in truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.”

James 2:9 says “if you show partiality you commit sin.”

Prejudice is when we make a distinction between people that God does not make.

We discriminate on the basis of…
Appearance
Ancestry
Age
Achievement
Affluence

The problem with prejudice is you can’t be prejudice & walk w/ God.

PREJUDICE IS COMMON. 46 “And Nathanael said to him, can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Prejudice Produces Barriers In Our Life. 46 “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

What caused Nathanael’s prejudice?
It could have been his upbringing.
It could have been a past experience.
It was probably just plain ignorance.

Matthew 2:23 “And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.”

(Illustration: Picture of Hope Diamond will be on screens)

Prejudice Produces Blindness In Our Life. 47 “Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him…”

PREJUDICE HAS A CURE. 46 “Philip said to him, come and see.”

Come And See An Undeniable Lord. 47 “Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said of him, behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” 48 “Nathanael said to Him, how do you know me? Jesus answered and said to him, before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

“behold an Israelite” – He knows my race
“Behold an Israelite indeed” – He knows I’m a practicing Jew.
“in whom is no deceit” – He knows my heart.
“I saw you under the fig tree” – He knows my past.

49 “You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

Come And See An Unbelievable Life. 50 “You will see greater things than these.”

Series: Priceless Principles from Proverbs
Matters That Matter
Proverbs 1:7

Someone has said “Proverbs is godly wisdom passed down from a father to his children to enable them to maximize their potential for living a God-blessed, meaningful life.”

Chinese Proverbs
Men trip not on mountains; they trip on molehills.
Only he that has traveled the road knows where the holes are deep.
Small men think they’re small; great men never know they’re great
When a finger points at the moon, the imbecile looks at the finger.
African Proverbs
Only a fool tests the depth of the water with both feet.
There are 40 kinds of lunacy, but only one kind of common sense.
American Proverbs
He that marries for money will earn it.
Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, half shut afterwards.
You cannot unscramble eggs.
You have to kiss a lot of toads before you find a handsome prince.

FOOLISH MATTERS - 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

The Characteristics Of The Foolish; What He Becomes Inwardly.
12:15 – “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise.”
17:24 – “Wisdom is in the sight of him who has understanding, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.”
17:25 – “A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him.”
28:26 – “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.”

The Conduct Of A Foolish Man; How He Behaves Outwardly. 14:9 “Fools mock at sin, but among the upright there is favor.”
18:6, 7 – “A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for blows.” “A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.”
29:11 – “A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back.”
26:11, 12 – “As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.” “Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”

FRIENDSHIP MATTERS – 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

Friends Are To Be Chosen. Prov. 22:24-25 “Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go, 25 Lest you learn his ways and set a snare for your soul.”
I Cor. 15:33 “Be not deceived; bad company corrupts good morals.”
Prov. 18:24 says “A man who has friends must himself be friendly...”
Prov. 17:17 “A friend loves at all times…”

Friends Are To Be Cherished. 27:9 “…the sweetness of a man’s friend gives delight by hearty counsel.”
Prov. 27:6 (NLT) “Wounds from a friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.”
Prov. 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

FINANCIAL MATTERS
The Bondage Of Ownership – 22:7 – “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”

Debt Statistics in America.
The total consumer credit in the U. S. is $1.7 trillion.
The credit card debt carried by the average American is $8500.
Over 40% of US families spend more than they earn.
Average US household pays $950 in interest each year.

The Blessings Of Stewardship
William Cook in his book, "Success, Motivation and the Scriptures," said, "God knows more about success than man does; more about man's needs than man does; more about power than man does; more about planning than man does & God knows more about money than man does."

Prov. 3:9-10 “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”
19:17 – “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”
22:1-2 – “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold. 2 The rich and the poor have this in common; the Lord is the maker of them all.”

Do You Know So?
I John 5:11-13

“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life…”

THE CERTAINTY OF SALVATION. 13 “…that you may know that you have eternal life…”

Salvation is not just believing in God.
1:6 “If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness we lie and do not practice the truth.”
2:4 “He who says I know Him & does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.”
2:6 “He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
2:9 “He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness until now.”
Salvation is not just saying a sinner’s prayer.
Salvation is not remembering a time or a place.
Charles Spurgeon said “Man can know he is alive, even if he can’t remember his birthday.”
Salvation is not a feeling.
Salvation is not church attendance or being good or being baptized.
Salvation IS turning from our sin (repentance) & trusting in Christ (faith)

Doubt Deceives Us.
D.L. Moody said “I have never known a Christian who was any good in the work of Christ who did not have assurance of salvation.”
Doubt Silences Us.
Doubt Paralyzes Us.

THE CLARITY OF SCRIPTURE. “These things I have written to you…that you may know”
We don’t have a “feel so salvation.”
We don’t have a “hope so salvation.”
We don’t have a “think so salvation.”
We have a “know so salvation.”

John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death into life.”

John Rice said “don’t every put a question mark where God has put a period.”

THE CENTRALITY OF THE SAVIOR. 12 “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Do you have life; abundant life and eternal life?

Billy Graham said, “No man can be said to be truly converted to Christ who has not bent his will to Christ. He may give intellectual assent to the claims of Christ and may have had emotional religious experiences, however he is not truly converted until he has surrendered his will to Christ as Lord, Savior and Master.”

When Jesus Died He Paid For Our Sins.
“All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to our own way.” Isa. 53:6 “There is none righteous, no not one” Rom. 3:10

When Jesus Was Buried He Put Away Our Sin.

When Jesus Arose He Prevailed Over the Power Of Sin.

What Does The Lord Require?
Micah 6:8

According to a recent poll by George Barna:
85% of Americans claim to be Christians.
70% claim church membership.
67% claim to be born again.
41% say they are committed Christians.

“He has shown you O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

WE ARE TO DO JUSTLY; OUTWARD INTEGRITY. “to do justly”

When We Do What We Know Is Right There Is Internal Reward.

When We Do What We Know Is Right There Is External Reward.

When We Do What We Know Is Right There Is Eternal Reward.

WE ARE TO LOVE MERCY; INWARD SINCERITY. “to love mercy”

To Love Mercy Is Expressed Love.

To Love Mercy Is Extreme Love.

To Love Mercy Is Explosive Love.

When we express our love in an extreme way we will experience an explosive dynamic life!

WE ARE TO WALK HUMBLY; UPWARD HUMILITY. “and walk humbly with your God”

It’s An Intentional Walk.

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time.” I Peter 5:7

It’s An Intimate Walk.

“How can two walk together unless they are agreed.” Amos 3:3

America; Remember and Return
Isaiah 1:1-5, 16-20

Is America healthy and happy?

Dr. Charles Stanley, “We are eroding from within, we are destroying ourselves. Unless there is revival this nation is going to get worse and worse.”
Dr. James Kennedy, “We have forgotten God, turned our backs on God, we are without doubt in the process of destroying ourselves.”
Dr. John Hagee, “America is history, it’s dead, this nation is over without a broad, sweeping revival of righteousness.”
Dr. Bill Bright, “God has been insulted and now we are losing the very soul of America.”

A NATION THAT’S CONFUSED - 3 “The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master's crib; but Israel does not know,

They Were Confused Concerning The Miracle Of Their Past. 2 “Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled against Me”

Abraham Lincoln said “We have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and enriched us and strengthened us and we have vainly imagined that all things were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God who made us.”

{Christopher Columbus} “It was the Lord who put it into my mind to sail from here to the Indies, through rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scripture; the fact that the gospel must be preached to all the nations, this is what inspired me.”
The Pilgrims landed who on Plymouth Rock in 1620 wrote “We came here for the glory of God and for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Isaiah 33:22 “For the Lord is our Judge {Judicial branch}, our Lawgiver {legislative branch} and our King {Executive branch}. It is He who will save us.”

George Washington, prayed “Direct my thoughts, words and work, wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the Lamb and purge my heart by the Holy Spirit, daily form me more and more into the likeness of thy Son Jesus Christ.”

Patrick Henry said, “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or to often that this great nation was founded not by religionist but by Christians, not on religion but on the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

John Quincy Adams said, “From the time of the Declaration of Independence, the American people were bound by the laws of God & the laws of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which they all acknowledge as the root of their conduct. We all came together to obey the word of God.”

Thomas Jefferson said, “The first amendment had created a wall of separation between church and state but that wall is a one directional wall, it keeps the government from running the church but it makes sure that Christian principles will always stay in government

Dwight D. Eisenhower said, “Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life.”

They Were Confused Concerning The Meaning of Their Prosperity.

“He sought God... and as long as He sought the Lord, God made him prosper.” 2 Chron. 26:5

5 “the whole head is sick and the whole heart faints.”

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord...” Ps 33:12

They Were Confused Concerning Their Misery And Pain. 4-5 “Alas, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a brood of evildoers, children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked to anger the Holy One of Israel, they have turned away backward.”5 “Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick and the whole heart faints.”

Thomas Jefferson said “Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure, when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but by His wrath. Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever.”

A NATION THAT MUST CHOOSE- 18 “Come now, and let us reason together says the Lord, Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

We Must Choose Reality And Not Ritual. 11-14 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? Says the Lord. I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle...” 12 “When you come to appear before Me, who has required this from your hand, to trample My courts?” 13 “Bring no more futile sacrifices...” 14 “...They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.”

We Must Choose What’s Right And Not Wrong. 16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil” 17 “Learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.”

A NATION THAT’S CONFUSED – 3 “The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib; but Israel does not know,

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” Ps 33:12

Confidence in Chaos Through Christ
II Cor. 5:17

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

It is a Conditional Promise. “Therefore, if”

It is a Personal Promise. “if anyone”

It’s a One Dimensional Promise. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ”

It’s a Radical Promise. “he is a new creation”

It’s a Powerful Promise. “old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Through Christ We’re A New Person. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation”

Through Christ We Have A New Purpose. “old things have passed away”

Through Christ We Have A New Priority. “behold, all things have become new.”

We see the Lord differently.
We see the land differently.
We see the lives of others differently.

Through Christ We Have New Potential. “is in Christ”

I Jn.4:17, “As He is, so are we in the world.”

How often we forget who we are. According to God...
· We are the salt of the earth. Mt.5:13
· We are the light of the world. Mt.5:14
· We are children of God. Jn.1:12
· We are chosen by God. Jn.15:16
· We are friends of Christ. Jn.15:15
· We are joint heirs with Christ. Rom. 8:17
· We are more than conquerors through Christ. Rom.8:37
· We are the temple, the dwelling place of God. I Cor.6:19
· We are a new creation. II Cor.5:17
· We are saints. Eph.1:1
· We are Gods workmanship, His handiwork. Eph.2:10
· We are righteous and holy. Eph.4:24
· We are citizens of heaven. Eph.2:6
· We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession. 1 Peter 2:9
· We are born of God and the evil one cannot touch us. I Jn.5:18
